  1. Shaft pitman (steering)

    NHTSA 06V214000 Reported 423 vehicles potentially affected PREVOST CARS, INC.

    On certain motor homes equipped with front independent suspension, two spindle shafts were improperly processed during manufacturing which weakened the shafts.

    Remedy: Dealers will replace the two spindle shafts and surrounding parts free of charge. The recall began on october 12, 2006. Owners may contact prevost at 418-831-5432.

  2. Suspension

    NHTSA 04V432000 Reported 121 vehicles potentially affected PREVOST CAR, INCORPORATED

    On certain motor coaches and motor homes, cracks were found in the material used to make suspension radius rod pins.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect all parts and, if necessary, replace the rod pins. The recall is expected to begin during september 2004. Customers may also contact prevost at 1-418-831-5432.

  3. Gear box (other than rack and pinion) (steering)

    NHTSA 03V091000 Reported 101 vehicles potentially affected PREVOST CAR, INCORPORATED

    On certain new "face-lift" motor coaches and motor homes equipped with independent front suspension, a modification was made to the steering gearbox mounting support. The support may develop stress cracks under heavy load conditions.
