RecallMyCar is a product of Goods Media LLC ("RecallMyCar," "we," "us"). This policy covers recallmycar.com.

VIN checks

When you enter a VIN, it is sent to our server function, which forwards it to NHTSA's public vPIC and recall APIs and returns the result to your browser. We do not store VINs, and we do not log them beyond the short-lived request logs our hosting provider keeps for operations.

Analytics

We measure traffic in aggregate (page views, referrers, countries) using privacy-respecting analytics that do not use cookies or track individuals across sites.

Advertising

The site is supported by advertising. Ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies to show relevant ads and measure performance, in accordance with their own policies. Where required by law you will be asked for consent before such cookies are set. You can opt out of personalised advertising through your ad provider's settings or your browser.
