    NHTSA 26V472000 Reported 131 vehicles potentially affected Coach and Equipment Mfg. Corp.

    Coach and Equipment Mfg. Corp. (Coach and Equipment) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Phoenix, and 2025-2026 Metrolite transit buses, equipped with certain S-Series wheelchair platform lifts. The electrical contactor may fail, preventing the controls from stopping the lift.

    Remedy: Dealers will correct the wiring by installing two diodes, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 31, 2026. Owners may contact Coach and Equipment customer service at 1-800-724-8464.

    NHTSA 26V333000 Reported 677 vehicles potentially affected Coach and Equipment Mfg. Corp.

    Coach and Equipment Mfg. Corp. (Coach and Equipment) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Phoenix and 2026 Metrolite buses, equipped with certain QRT-360 wheelchair retractors. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 5, 2026. Owners may contact Coach and Equipment customer service at 1-800-724-8464.
