   NHTSA 96V062000 Reported April 22, 1996 2,659 vehicles potentially affected COACH AND EQUIPMENT MFG CORP

   Passenger's clothing can unknowingly become caught in the handrails at bus doors when exiting the bus.

   Remedy: Replace or reposition the handrails to stop clothing from becoming caught.

   Model years: 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996

2. Suspension: rear

   NHTSA 78V265000 Reported December 19, 1978 35 vehicles potentially affected COACH & EQUIP SALES CORP.

   Some of the involved vehicles were built with rear suspension components that could be overloaded with the maximum number of passengers.

   Remedy: Dealer will inspect and, if necessary, replace the rear springs, wheels, and tires.

3. Labels (equipment)

   NHTSA 77V031000 Reported March 1, 1977 1,220 vehicles potentially affected COACH & EQUIP SALES CORP.

   The involved vehicles fail to conform to federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 217, "bus window retention and release". The rear door glass may have been installed with a rubber gasket which may provide marginal retention.

   Remedy: Owner will be sent four special metal brackets to be installed on each of the rear door glass windows. Owner will be reimbursed for labor charges.
