    Nissan diesel is recalling certain model year 1999-2010 ud3300 vehicles. These vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 121, "air brake systems." the brake actuation and release timing of the air brake system on these vehicles may not perform correctly.

    On certain trucks equipped with bando belt tensioner, corrosion or rust may develop on the tensioner spindle or bushing causing the auto tensioner to become stiff or bind. This can cause the drive belt to suddenly come off, or the auto tensioner mounting bolts could suddenly break.

    Certain medium duty trucks equipped with the allison series 2500 automatic transmission do not have a park position available inside the automatic transmission. These vehicles may have been assembled with an automatic transmission shift lever control assembly indicating a park position is available for selection by the vehicle operator.
