Defect

On certain motor homes, liquid propane (lp) gas cook tops were installed using a flexible rubber hose that could burn or melt.

Safety risk

If undetected, the hose could burn through and result in a lp gas fire.

Remedy

Dealers will replace the cook top rubber hose with copper tubing. The recall began on november 8, 2004. Customers can contact country coach at 1-541-998-3720.
