  1. Diesel (engine and engine cooling)

    NHTSA 06V182000 Reported 465 vehicles potentially affected MONACO COACH CORPORATION

    On certain class a motor homes equipped with detroit diesel series c-60 engines, the electronic control module (ECM) will require to be reprogrammed to current mainframe calibrations.

    Remedy: Detroit diesel is conducting this recall (please see 06e019000) and will reprogram the ECM to current mainframe calibrations free of charge. Owners may contact detroit diesel at 313-592-3708 or monaco at 1-800-685-6545.

  2. Abs warning light (service brakes)

    NHTSA 04V325000 Reported 29 vehicles potentially affected MONACO COACH CORPORATION

    Certain motorhomes fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 135, "brake systems." the antilock brake system (ABS) lights are not visible on the instrument cluster of the dash.

    Remedy: Dealers will rewire plugs to correct the signal from the ABS module and the installation of amber colored lights to the instrument cluster of the dashboard. The recall began on july 23, 2004. Owners should contact…
