    NHTSA 07V288000 Reported 41 vehicles potentially affected KOMFORT CORPORATION

    Certain travel and fifth wheel trailers fail to comply with the requirements of part 567, "certification," and federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 110, "tire selection and rims." the information provided on the certification and tire information labels denoting the tire pressure is incorrect.

    Remedy: Dealers will remove the incorrect federal certification label and install a new corrected federal certification label free of charge. The recall began on october 3, 2007. Owners may contact komfort at 937-596-6849.

  2. Rim (wheels)

    NHTSA 07V271000 Reported 29 vehicles potentially affected KOMFORT CORPORATION

    Certain travel and fifth wheel trailers were built with incorrectly sized wheels. The incorrect wider rim does not allow proper clearance between the shock absorber, shock brackets, and the tire.

    Remedy: Komfort will replace the wheels and tires of the affected vehicles. The recall began on october 3, 2007. Owners may contact komfort at 1-503 722-5199.
