1. Trailer hitches

   NHTSA 94V181000 Reported October 17, 1994 7,256 vehicles potentially affected GRUMMAN OLSON, INC

   A 2" ball was to be welded to a steel bar as well as the nut for the ball welded to the shank. Some vehicles were not properly welded allowing the nut to come off.

   Remedy: The trailer hitches will be inspected and welded properly.
