The exterior brake lights may remain illuminated when the driver is not applying the brakes.     Remedy: Foretravel will work with Shyft to replace the pressure switch, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 28, 2026. Owners may contact Foretravel customer service at 1-800-955-6226.

  2. Electrical system

    NHTSA 23V349000 Reported 67 vehicles potentially affected Foretravel, Inc.

    Foretravel, Inc. (Foretravel) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Realm, Realm Presidential, and FS450 motorhomes. The vehicle control module (ICM) may have a software error, which can cause a loss of drive power or disable other safety systems, such as the headlights or windshield wipers.

    Remedy: Dealers will reprogram the vehicle control module, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 3, 2023. Owners may contact Foretravel customer service at 1-800-955-6226.
