  1. U-bolt, leaf spring to axle (suspension)

NHTSA 77V036000 Reported 2,404 vehicles potentially affected FORD MOTOR COMPANY

The involved vehicles may have been assembled with improperly manufactured front spring u-bolts used to secure the front axle assembly to the spring. The four u-bolts may experience cracks and could ultimately break. Should two u-bolts on the same side of the vehicle break, the front axle would not be retained securely.

Remedy: All suspect u-bolts will be replaced by the dealer, free of charge.

  2. Vacuum (service brakes)

NHTSA 71V025000 Reported 12,322 vehicles potentially affected FORD MOTOR COMPANY
