Delivery (fuel system)
Vehicle description: passenger vehicles. The fuel supply and return lines can leak if the aluminum barrel nut attaching the lines is tightened in excess of the required torque.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the fuel supply and return lines with new updated lines, which have the barrel nut made of steel.
-
Heater core (visibility)
Vehicle description: passenger vehicles. The heater hoses are exposed to the driver side footwell.
Remedy: Dealers will install a protective panel over the heater hoses.
-
Horn (electrical system)
The international horn emblem is missing from the leather steering wheel cover. This does not meet the requirements for FMVSS no. 101, "controls and displays."
Remedy: Dealers will stamp the steering wheel with an electrically heated tool on the left and right spoke of the steering wheel.

Checking a specific 1995 Ferrari 456GT
How do I know if my 1995 Ferrari 456GT has an open recall?
Enter your 17-character VIN above. The VIN is on the driver's side dashboard (visible through the windshield), the driver's door jamb sticker, and your registration or insurance card. The check runs against NHTSA's live database and tells you which campaigns list your vehicle. 3 campaigns currently list the 1995 Ferrari 456GT; your car may already have been repaired under some of them.
Is the recall repair free?
Yes. Under federal law, manufacturers must fix safety recalls at no charge for vehicles up to 15 years old from the date of sale to the first owner. Contact any authorised Ferrari dealer with your VIN and the NHTSA campaign number (for example 95V079000).
What is the difference between a recall and a complaint?
A recall is a safety campaign filed by the manufacturer or ordered by NHTSA, with a defined defect and remedy. A complaint is a report an owner sent to NHTSA; it is not verified, but patterns of complaints are what trigger NHTSA investigations and, eventually, recalls.
