    NHTSA 05V456000 Reported 123 vehicles potentially affected DAIMLERCHRYSLER COMMERCIAL BUSES NC

    On certain transit buses equipped with sure power battery equalizers, p/n 52210 24v/12v 100 amp series 1, the equalizers may experience a failure mode. These equalizers used an inductor with the coils protected by insulation. Over time, the inductor insulation may degrade creating a short.

    Remedy: Sure power will notify DC's customers and replace the equalizers free of charge. Owners may contact sure power at 1-800-845-6269 ext. 113.

  2. Equipment adaptive/mobility

    NHTSA 04V505000 Reported 258 vehicles potentially affected DAIMLERCHRYSLER COMMERCIAL BUSES NC

    Certain transit buses equipped with sure-lok wheelchair tie-down securement assemblies. The sprocket teeth of the retractor assembly may be out of alignment causing the load pawl not to fully seat in the sprocket teeth.
