    NHTSA 17V259000 Reported 4,188 vehicles potentially affected Stoughton Trailers, LLC

    Stoughton Trailers, LLC (Stoughton) is recalling certain 2017-2018 DAVW and DVW 285S dry van single-axle trailers. The outside welds that attach the front suspension hangers to the subframe may crack, allowing the front hanger to detach.

    Remedy: Stoughton will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the front hanger for cracks, repairing them as necessary. Dealers will also install gussets inside the subframe, free of charge. The recall began on July 17, 2017.…
