Defect

Autocar, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Autocar DC (Legend) trucks. The seat belt mounting fasteners may be improperly secured.

Safety risk

Loose seat belt mounting fasteners may not properly restrain an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy

Dealers will inspect, secure, or replace the seat belt mounting fasteners, as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed January 19, 2024. Owners may contact Autocar's customer service at 1-888-218-3611. Autocar's number for this recall is DC-2302.
