Defect

Daimler Trucks North America, LLC (DTNA) is recalling certain 2022 Freightliner Cascadia vehicles. The electronic parking brake may not engage when the vehicle is keyed off, which may result in a vehicle rollaway. Safety risk

A vehicle rollaway increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will install a fused harness overlay, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 9, 2023. Owners may contact DNTA customer service at 1-800-547-0712. DTNA's number for this recall is FL-945.
