Defect
Entegra is recalling certain model year 2010 and 2011 anthem and cornerstone class a motorhomes manufactured from june 3, 2009, through august 27, 2010. There may be an improper electrical connection at the buss bar on the affected transfer switches.
Safety risk
This improper connection may lead to overheating and melting of the transfer switch and may result in a fire.
Remedy
Entegra will notify owners and dealers will replace the transfer switch free of charge. The safety recall began on september 24, 2010. Owners may contact entegra at 1-800-945-4787.
