Defect

On certain travel and fifth wheel trailers equipped with refueling station pumps, the inlet fitting may not have the correct amount of thread sealer which may cause a fuel leak.

Safety risk

If the fitting leaks, it could result in a fire or explosion causing bodily harm.

Remedy

Dealers will inspect and replace the pump with a new one. The recall began on march 3, 2006. Owners may contact monaco at 800-685-6545.
