Defect
On certain fifth wheel trailers equipped with aluminum wheels, the thickness of the wheel may not allow for enough thread engagement of the lug nuts.
Safety risk
Lack of thread engagement could allow the wheel to separate from the trailer and a crash could occur without prior notice.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the wheels free of charge. The recall began on january 4, 2005. Owners may contact komfort at 800-554-2711.
