Defect
On certain fifth wheel and travel trailers, the tailpipe used to release the exhaust from the generator was not long enough to reach the side of the trailer. Safety risk
The tailpipe exhaust needs to be released away from the underside of the trailer.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the existing tailpipe. Owner notification began may 13, 2003. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact thor california at 1-888-697-8467, extension 215.
