Defect
Vehicle description: transit buses. The longitudinal floor structure is breaking at the cross members.
Safety risk
The body could eventually separate from the chassis.
Remedy
Dealers will install a heavier gauge longitudinal members and additional body mounts and cross members.
Notes
Owner notification is expected to begin during january 2001.
