Defect
Vehicle description: heavy duty trucks. A heat shield between an ABS (anti lock brake system) modulating valve and a muffler was omitted.
Safety risk
This condition could result in longer stopping distances in emergency braking situations.
Remedy
Dealers will install a heat shield between the ABS modulating valve and the muffler.
