    PJ Trailers is recalling certain 2024 B5, B6, B8, C8, CC, CE, D3, D5, D8, DD, DG, DL, DM, DR, DT, F8, FD, FY, L6, LD, LS, LX, LY, P8, PL, T1, T6, T7, T8, T9, TF, and TJ trailers. The sidewall of the tires may experience bubbling and separate, causing loss of tire pressure. As such, these trailers fail to comply with the requirements of…

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the tires as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 08, 2024. Owners may contact PJ Trailers customer service at 1-866-752-8781.

  2. Trailer hitches

    NHTSA 23V319000 Reported 4,905 vehicles potentially affected PJ Trailers

    PJ Trailers is recalling certain 2022-2024 LD, LY, LX, LS, CC, DD, TJ, and TS trailers equipped with a Demco EZ Latch Gooseneck Coupler. The coupler mounting bolts may loosen and cause the coupler to separate from the inner tube.

    Remedy: Dealers will replace the couplers, free of charge. Owner notification letter were mailed June 15, 2023. Owners may contact PJ Trailers customer service at 1-866-752-8781.

  3. Axle assembly (power train)

    NHTSA 11V509000 Reported 1,917 vehicles potentially affected PJ TRAILERS

    Pj trailers is recalling certain model year 2011 flatbed trailers equipped with a 15 3/4" or a 21 3/4" equalizer for 10k/12k spring axles. The welds on the top of the equalizer that hold the bushing through which the equalizer bolts to the trailer were not properly welded and can fail causing the axle to detach from the trailer.

    Remedy: Pj trailers will notify owners and repair the trailers free of charge. The safety recall began on november 7, 2011. Owners may contact pj trailers at 1-903-669-0213.
