Gear box (other than rack and pinion) (steering)
Hard braking occurring during a turning maneuver can cause the firewall mounted steering shaft knuckle and the engine mounted fuel filter bracket to come in contact.
Remedy: Replace the fuel filter bracket with new brackets which will provide greater clearance between the bracket and the steering shaft knuckle.
