   NHTSA 86V012000 Reported January 28, 1986 107 vehicles potentially affected OSHKOSH TRUCK CORPORATION

   Large size particles in the steering hydraulic system fluid causes a solenoid valve orifice to plug and malfunction. Consequence of defect: this could result in a partial loss of power steering capability occurring intermittently and at low speed turns.

   Remedy: Repair kits and installation instructions will be provided.
