NHTSA 94V136000 Reported 7,350 vehicles potentially affected BLUE BIRD BODY COMPANY

The hand throttle cable passes through the accelerator rod assembly at an angle that wears a groove in the rod, which is located under the accelerator pedal. The cable can become wedged in the groove worn into the rod and cause the accelerator to stick in an open position.

Remedy: Dealers will install a positioning bracket for routing the hand throttle cable through the accelerator rod assembly.

    Model years: 1991

  2. Vehicle speed control

Remedy: A new production secondary throttle return system configuration will be installed.

    Model years: 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992

  3. Linkages (visibility)

NHTSA 90V051000 Reported 2,350 vehicles potentially affected MACK TRUCKS, INCORPORATED

A tolerance mismatch in the crank assembly of the bosch windshield wiper motor could cause instantaneous separation of the crank from the linkage assembly in the left hand control arm assembly; this would make the system inoperable.

Remedy: Replace left hand control arm linkage assembly.

    Model years: 1989
