Headlights (exterior lighting)
Certain class 8 chassis fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment." front drive axles were installed by the macungie modification center. With the installation of the axle, the overall height of the front of the vehicle was raised.
Remedy: A set of lamps will be mounted below the bumper, bringing the lamp height into compliance. The existing lamps in the hood will be removed and decorative covers will be installed to cover the holes in the hood. Owner…

Manifold/header/muffler/tail pipe (engine and engine cooling)
Exhaust heat shield was not installed in production.
Remedy: Install an exhaust pipe heat shield.

Fan (engine and engine cooling)
Due to the high strain within the fan blades of the cooling fan, cracks may develop in the fan. These cracks may lead to complete fracture of the cooling fan, propelling the fan and pieces of the fan blades outside the fan shroud.
Remedy: The dealer will install cooling fans with improved fan blades on all affected vehicles free of charge to owner.
