   NHTSA 90V004000 Reported January 18, 1990 34 vehicles potentially affected ISUZU MOTORS LIMITED

   There may be paint in the fixing flange between the propeller shaft and differential gear which could cause the fixing (attaching) bolts to loosen. This may result in the separation of the propeller shaft from the differential unit.

   Remedy: Disconnect the propeller shaft, remove paint from the fixing flange areas, reconnect the propeller shaft and torque bolts to specifications.
