  1. Fuel rail (fuel system)

    NHTSA 21V790000 Reported 245 vehicles potentially affected HME, Inc.

    HME, Inc. (HME) is recalling certain 2017-2020 Ahrens-Fox model 34 Type 3, Rescue, Pumper, Tanker, Aerial, CommFox, WolfSA Tanker, 1871-SFO, 1871-W, 1871-Spectr, and AF1 fire trucks. The sealing washer may not seat correctly in the pilot boreholes, allowing the high-pressure fuel rail assembly to leak.

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect the rail threads and fuel lines, and replace the rail as necessary, free of charge. Owners were notified on January 20, 2021. Owners may contact HME's customer service at 1-616-534-1463.
