Wheel bearing (suspension)
The front wheel bearings were not adequately greased.
Remedy: Remove, clean, and grease front wheel bearings and hubs.

Linkage and cable (parking brake)
The metal sheathing of the parking brake cable can separate allowing the inner load bearing cable to pull through the housing, relaxing cable tension and releasing the parking brake.
Remedy: Replace the parking brake cable.
