Forest River bus, LLC (Forest River Bus) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Trans Tech school buses. The modified seating floor plan may exceed the the rear Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR). As such these vehicles fail to comply with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other Than Passenger Cars."
Remedy: Dealers will modify the seating free of charge and provide a refund for lost seating capacity as necessary. Owner notification letters were mailed February 17, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River Bus customer service…

Forest River Bus, LLC (Forest River Bus) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Collins School Bus and 2025-2026 Trans Tech School Bus vehicles equipped with certain QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.
