1. Electrical heating element (visibility)

   NHTSA 78V175000 Reported August 9, 1978 5,770 vehicles potentially affected FIAT MOTORS OF N.A., INC.

   There may breakage of the internal mechanism of the heater fan switch on certain vehicles. This can result in an incorrect electrical contact and overheating of the switch.

   Remedy: Dealer will replace the heater fan control switch free of charge.
