   NHTSA 77V150000 Reported September 19, 1977 2,500 vehicles potentially affected OUTBOARD MARINE CORP.

   The involved vehicles do not comply with federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 108, "lamps, reflective devices and associated equipment". This is due to the omission of an illuminating indicator to warn the operator if a signal lamp burns out or otherwise fails to operate.
