    Certain my 2005 and 2006 corbeil minibus school buses manufactured between september 2005 and september 2006. The vehicle placard does not give the correct vehicle capacity weight (vcw) nor is it permanently affixed which fails to conform to federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 110, tire selection and rims.

    Remedy: Corbeil will notify owners and mail replacement labels with the correct gvwr along with placement instructions. The recall began on december 4, 2006. Owners may contact corbeil at 1-888-439-3577 ext.

    Vehicle description: school buses built on ford and general motors chassis. These vehicles do not comply with the requirements of FMVSS no. 217, "bus window retention and release." the rear door must provide an opening large enough to permit unobstructed passage of a rectangular parrelepiped.

    Remedy: Dealers will replace the seat backs on the rear seats with straighter and thinner seat backs, allowing for full access to the rear emergency door.
