    Champion bus is recalling certain vehicles equipped with carrier genv em-1 evaporator units. Due to time, temperature, and/or vibration, the fuse may loosen in the fuse holder resulting in high resistance and arcing.

    Certain buses fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 217, "bus emergency exits and window retention and release." these buses lack the correct number and size of emergency exits.

    Remedy: Dealers will replace one of the regular windows on the buses with an emergency exit window. The manufacturer has not yet provided an owner notification schedule. Owners should contact champion at 800-331-5761.
