    NHTSA 06V065000 Reported 699 vehicles potentially affected CHARLES MACHINE WORKS INC

    Certain trailers fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 223, "rear impact guards." proper rear impact guards were not installed on these trailers.

    Remedy: Dealers will install the correct rear impact guards free of charge. The recall began on december 15, 2006. Owners may contact charles machine works at 580-572-2480.
