  1. Axle assembly (power train)

    NHTSA 07V523000 Reported 73 vehicles potentially affected THULE TOWING SYSTEMS LLC

    On certain galvanized utility trailers, a bracket used to attach the axle to the trailer body was reversed during assembly. The improper installation of the bracket may cause the axle to disengage from the trailer while in use.

    Remedy: Dealers will disconnect the improperly assembled bracket and re-assemble the bracket in a proper manner free of charge. The recall began on november 14, 2007. Owners may contact thule at 1-888-451-9776.
