    Heil is recalling certain model year 2006-2009 rapid rail and cp python bodies garbage trucks with bolt-on rear hinge assemblies. Affected bodies are those which have a bolt on rear hinge assembly but do not have structural gussets to reinforce the z-plate. Cracking can occur in the z-plate area and a failure can result when the body is…

    Remedy: Dealers will inspect and install the bolt on hinge kit free of charge. The safety recall began on march 10, 2010. Owners may contact heil at 866-275-4345.
